USA has finally reopened but with the following caveats:

– Non US citizens and residents, MUST be vaccinated
– Those vaccinated US citizens/residents need a covid test from the previous 3 calendar days before their flight (supervised antigen or PCR basically)

Good news overall for those of us based in the UK and not with US passports/green cards, but still very annoying we need a test.

I have to say whilst not a fan of the EU, and of its members nonsense during covid, they have led the way by and large in allowing in vaccinated travellers without tests.

One year on from this, USA no longer requires the test, but is still one of the only countries in the world to require vaccination for entry. Come on USA, you are dragging your feet. Get with the program.
