Is the golden age of travel dead?

    With border closures ramping up again, many of us are concerned that life will never go back to normal for travellers.

    Since the panic over Covid-19 began, a traveller’s life has been governed by the constant threat of lockdowns, restrictions, border closures, quarantine and now vaccine passports.

    Anyone daring to travel these days needs to have a multitude of options for escaping a state or country and an alternative plan if they are threatened with quarantine on arrival in their home country.

    Is this the way it is going to stay?
